Description
Solve classic insight problems from cognitive psychology — the kind where you're stuck, then suddenly see it.
How It Works:
- Each problem presents a scenario and 4 possible solutions
- You have up to 60 seconds per problem
- The correct answer usually requires restructuring the problem — not more effort in the same direction
Why It's Different: Insight problems aren't solved by analysis. They're solved by a sudden shift in how you see the whole situation — the "aha" moment. Problems here include Duncker's Candle Problem, the Nine-Dot Problem, Maier's Two-String Problem, and other classics studied since the 1930s.
The Trap: Each problem has an obvious answer that seems right but isn't. Falling for it is part of the test — it shows where your mind got stuck.
Scoring: Your score is based on how many problems you solve accurately. Options are shuffled every session.
